| Welcome to our site. My name is Deidre Gray and I am the President of Always A Positive Image, LLC. The company was established in 1995 out of a dream to create special events for special people. When the company began, our name was A Positive Image. We went through a name change when we became an LLC in 2004. I was introduced to the wedding industry as a teenager by my uncle who was also a Wedding Planner. I assisted him with various events and really enjoyed it but as a teenager it was just a means of making a few extra dollars. Throughout high school and college I was known for organizing events so it was inevitable that this trait would follow me through adulthood. In 1995 my interest in wedding and event planning grew to a new level. I realized that God blessed me with a talent and I began to put myself in position to become an entrepreneur. I began to align myself with other people in the business and began working part-time as a Wedding Planner. After working part-time for 9 years, I realized that working in the legal field was great financially but it was not making me happy. I prayed for God to give me another job but instead he gave me the desires of my heart. On July 22, 2004, I stepped out on faith and resigned from my job as a Paralegal. It was on that day my dream came true..... I became my own boss. What started as a part-time passion was transformed into a full-time career. God has truly blessed API and it is because of him that we continue to grow and expand our service and resources. We are a full service wedding and event planning company whose list of services include invitations and social stationery, favors, shoes, event design, travel and honeymoon registry, linen rental, wedding gown preservation and bridal accessories. We try to offer our clients a one stop shop. API is currently a member of Weddings Beautiful Worldwide, BB&G, the R & M Wedding/Event Planning Network (R & M) and the Pennsylvania Associations of Event Planners (PAEP). We are also a former member of the Association of Bridal Consultants but continue to attend the local chapters events. These organizations allow us to stay on top of industry trends, continue our professional training and network with other industry professionals. Regardless of our size, API will continue to provide personalized and professional service because that is what makes us special. We value and maintain our client relationships. We do what we do because love to not because we have to. On behalf of myself and our team, we welcome you to become a part of the API experience.
